Sand casting is the most widely used casting process in casting Industry, use sand molds to shape complex metal parts so it's can be produced with almost any alloy. Because the sand mould must need damaged for get part, named the casting, sand casting generally is low production speed. The sand casting process requires the use of sand mold, pattern,melted metal,furnace . The metal is melted by furnace and then poured into the hole of the sand mould, which is formed by the pattern. The sand mould splits along a parting line and the solidified casting can be taken off. Sand casting is commonly used to create a wide selection of metal components with complex shape. These parts can differ widely in weight and size, ranging from several tons to a ounces. Some smaller sand casting parts include components as crankshafts,pulleys, connecting rods, gears, and propellers. Larger include heavy machine parts and large equipment housings.
