We commonly use four quality zinc alloys Zamak 2 ,Zamak 3, Zamak 5, ZA-8 and because they provide specific advantages for producing high-precision die castings.

Zamak 2:
Zamak 2 is the only ZAMAK alloy which can used for gravity casting.primarily for plastic injection tools or metal forming dies, This alloy is sometimes called Kirksite.
For die casting, Zamak 2 has the highest hardness and strength of the ZAMAK group. But, its high copper content (3%) leads to property changes upon.

Zamak 3:
Zamak 3 alloy is generally the first choice when Manufacture zinc die casting. It has great balance of mechanical properties and desirable physical, superb So it's  the reasons why over 75% of all United States zinc die castings are use Zamak 3 alloy. It is the most widely available alloy from die casting sources. ZAMAK No. 3 also provide excellent qualities for chromate treatments,painting,plating. It's the "standard" in which other zinc alloys are ranked regarding die casting.

Zamak 5:
Zamak 5 alloy castings are slightly harder and stronger than Zamak 3. But, these changes are tempered with a decrease in ductility which can affect formability during secondary swaging,riveting, bending or crimping operations. Zamak 5 contains an add-on of 1% copper which makes up these property changes. The alloy is widely use in die cast in Europe and does display great castability features, and also, improved creep features over No. 3.

ZA-8:
A great gravity casting alloy, ZA-8 is growing rapidly for High-pressure die casting. ZA-8 could be hot chamber die cast, with improved creep properties,hardness ,strength over ZAMAK's alloy, excluding a Zamak 2 alloy which is quite similar in performance. ZA-8 is easily plated and finished using standard processes for ZAMAK. When the performance of standard Zamak 3 or Zamak 5 has a question, ZA-8 is usually the die casting choice because of efficient hot chamber castability ,properties high strength.

Zamak 2,Zamak 3, Zamak 5, ZA-8 are well-suited for the die casting process due to their ability to:

- Create near net shapes and very thin walls
- Offer reliability properties
- Provide temperature flexibility up to 160
- Reach high accuracy levels
